We are looking for an experienced Full Time Van Driver.
Schedule:
- All days start in Williamsburg/Greenpoint, Brooklyn - Set delivery days: Monday through Friday, starting around Noon.
- About 30 hours per week
Candidate:
- Familiar & comfortable with driving a white van in NYC
- Previous experience managing inventory, driving vans, and making deliveries is a +PLUS+ - Experience handling food inventory (FIFO, etc) is a +PLUS+ - Speak fluent English (spoken and written) - Solid work ethic; responsible and reliable
- Can professionally execute directives and special instructions
- Must have a smartphone (ie: GPS & payroll scheduling apps)
- Strong problem solver
Responsibilities:
- Daily pickup and drop-off of the company vehicle
- Driving logs and basic record filing
- Adhere to sanitation standards throughout a complete work day
- Morning & afternoon deliveries to our shops and wholesale clients throughout the city
- Loading & unloading; must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time up and down stairs
- General maintenance and refueling of company vehicle
Driving Record requirements:
- Must have valid driver's license
