The role at a glance:

This is an excellent opportunity to join NBBJ Seattle as an Intermediate Interior Designer in our Corporate / Commercial / Life Science Interiors Practice. The role will offer you opportunities to grow within the firm, experience with world-class clients, and ask you to fully participate in an innovative, creative, and highly collaborative environment. We seek candidates who are both self-motivated and team players with a deep passion for the design and craft of interiors. 

In your new role, you will:

• Participate in collaborative teams on a wide-range of workplace and interiors projects, across a wide range of typologies.
• Proactive team engagement to participate in ideation at all levels
• Design, document and deliver and projects of various sizes and complexities.
• Develop and implement overall design concepts, details and finish palettes through all phases of design.

What you will need to succeed::

• 5 - 9 years of professional experience in Interior Design or Interior Architecture
• Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture
• LEED or WELL Accreditation, or willingness to pursue within 18 months of hire
• Strong conceptual design and schematic design skills
• Strong verbal and graphic communication skills
• Ability to lead aspects of work with design direction
• Demonstrated knowledge of Revit, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
• Creation of presentation books and materials
• Experience with researching, selecting and specifying materials and finishes
• Ability to work in a collaborative, open environment
• Furniture selection experience is beneficial
• Corporate and commercial design experience is beneficial

The annual base pay range for this role is anticipated to be between $73,000 and $90,000. Actual compensation for successful candidates will be carefully determined based on a number of factors, including their skills, qualifications and experience.
