Sodexo Corporate Services is looking for an Executive Chef 3 to join our team at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago. The current food landscape consists of 1 Corporate Cafes that serve Breakfast and Lunch, a Micro-Market with Grab and Go, and Catering Operations. The Executive Chef 3 will drive the culinary strategy for the account. Will have a team of 1 salaried Executive Chef and 20 hourly employees.

Predominately a M-F schedule with some evenings and weekends

What You'll Do


  • Menu Planning
  • Ordering
  • Inventory
  • Training and development of the culinary staff
  • Food and labor cost
  • Ensure all food always looks and tastes great and is visually appetizing when served
  • 70% to 80% Hands on working with the culinary team
  • Have a strong knowledge of food and able to cook using multiple styles of cuisine
  • Recognizing and reacting to contemporary trends
  • Use of correct food terminology and cooking methods
  • Constantly looking for new recipes and new ideas and initiatives that will improve both the quality of food and service as a whole

Qualifications & Requirements


Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

Minimum Management Experience - 3 years

Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
