gpac is partnered with a well-established structural steel fabrication company that has been serving its customers for decades across the region. They are looking to add a skilled Structural Steel Project Manager to their organization.
Qualifications:- Five+ years of experience in structural steel fabrication- Proficiency in Bluebeam software- Proven experience growing a book of business- Ability to organize necessary resources, including people, tools, and time to meet tight deadlines and achieve desired results- Take initiative and seek responsibility- Foster positive relationships with colleagues, clients, subcontractors, and vendors
Project Manager Responsibilities:- Manage the fabrication, assembly and installation of structural steel components- Responsible for the development and implementation of project plans- Oversee and ensure the accuracy of all blueprints and drawings- Create and manage project schedules to ensure timely completion of projects- Monitor and control project budget, resources, and job costs- Communicate project progress, issues, and solutions to customers and management
Project Manager Job Functions:- Ability to read and interpret structural drawings, blueprints, and related engineering documents- Experience in structural steel detailing and fabrication- Ability to use Microsoft Office products and Bluebeam software- Ability to lead projects and manage staff- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively- Ability to communicate and present information effectively
Skills:- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multi-tasking skills- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Proactive, positive attitude and strong work ethic- Self-motivated and able to work independently and under pressure
Compensation/Benefits:- Salary: $85,000 - $100,000- Comprehensive benefits package
