Job Summary:


This Senior Business Systems Analyst role involves applying industry best practices to create conceptual business models for clients, identifying software selection issues, and assessing organizational operational and functional baselines. The analyst will define engagement direction and strategy, addressing needs across HR, Finance, Supply, and Operations. This includes identifying IT inadequacies affecting organizational goals, generating strategies for enhanced IT operations, and participating in account strategy sessions and design reviews for ERP implementations. The role requires analyzing business systems, documenting requirements, defining scope and objectives, and formulating systems aligning with overall business strategies. The analyst may lead and direct the work of others.

Responsibilities:


- Applying industry best practices to create conceptual business models for clients.
- Identifying relevant issues and considerations in selecting application software packages.
- Assessing the operational and functional baseline of an organization and its components.
- Defining the direction and strategy for engagements, ensuring organizational needs are addressed.
- Identifying information technology inadequacies affecting functional areas' ability to support organizational goals.
- Generating functional area strategies for enhanced IT operations in a cross-functional mode.
- Participating in account strategy sessions, strategic assessments, and design reviews.
- Validating enterprise approaches and associated work products (e.g., ERP implementations).
- Coordinating the resolution of highly complex problems and tasks.
- Reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating business systems and user needs.
- Documenting requirements, defining scope and objectives.
- Formulating systems to parallel overall business strategies.
- Leading and directing the work of others.


Required Skills & Certifications:


- Bachelor's degree
- 5 years of experience in the field or related area
- Familiarity with relational database concepts
- Familiarity with client-server concepts
