As a **Security Guard - Plant Patrol** in **Santa Clara, CA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more . As an unarmed patrol officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help to deter security-related incidents and promote a secure environment. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining clear communication with team members and site personnel. You will represent our company's values of agility, reliability, and innovation, always putting people first and working collaboratively with integrity to support a positive atmosphere at the site. **Position Type: Full Time** **Pay Rate: $27.10 / Hour** **Job Schedule:** **Day** **Time** Mon04:00 AM - 12:00 PM Tue04:00 AM - 12:00 PM Wed04:00 AM - 12:00 PM Thur04:00 AM - 12:00 PM Fri04:00 AM - 12:00 PM **Responsibilities:** + Provide customer service by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed. + Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the manufacturing and industrial location. + Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. + Observe and report any suspicious behavior or security-related incidents encountered during patrols. + Communicate with site personnel and visitors to address questions or concerns related to security procedures. + Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities according to site protocols. **Minimum Requirements:** + At least 1 year of security experience is required. + CA Security Professional Guard Card required. + Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. + Customer service experience is preferred. + A valid guard card or license is preferred. + Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. + Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience. + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. + Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. + Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. + A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only. **Perks and Benefits:** + Health insurance and 401k plans for full-time positions + Schedules that fit with your personal life goals + Ongoing paid training programs and career growth opportunities + Employee discounts through our perks program to your favorite restaurants, entertainment venues, and much more...
