Patient care may include evaluating, treating, care management, referral coordination and follow-up with specialists, and health education. This role provides training to medical staff and instructs and counsels patients. **Job Description** : **EDUCATION:** + Doctorate: Graduate of an accredited medical school + Successful completion of a medical residency program. + Successful completion of a medical internship program. **TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:** + 8 years of recent relevant experience. **CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE:** + MD-Doctor of Medicine or DO-Doctor of Osteopathy for California + CSRC-Controlled Substance Registered Certification (DEA) + BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider + Board eligible or Board certified in area of specialty + ACLS-Advanced Cardiac Life Support + NRP-Neonatal Resuscitation Provider **Job Shift:** Days **Schedule:** Full Time **Days of the Week:** Monday - Friday **Weekend Requirements:** Rotating Weekends **Benefits:** Yes **Unions:** No **Position Status:** Exempt **Weekly Hours:** 40 **Employee Status:** Regular Employees of Sutter Health and its entities may handle hazardous drugs in the course of their work, including patient care, which requires them to manage, store, prepare, receive, unpack, transport, dispose of, or administer drugs identified as hazardous or potentially hazardous by the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) and in accordance with the USP 800 guidelines. Pay Range is $1.00 to $500.00 / hour _The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate's experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs.
