UM Baltimore Washington Medical Center (UM BWMC ), a member of the University of Maryland Medical System (UMMS) , is seeking a Pediatric Hospitalist to join our dynamic team in Glen Burnie , MD.
Job Description
* Largest Pediatric Hospitalist group in UMMS consisting of 19 providers
* 12 hour shifts (7a-7p/7p-7a)
* Always 2 pediatricians on at all times
* No call schedule
* EPIC as EMR
Responsibilities include servicing
* Pediatric emergency room
* Level 2A special care nursery
* Well baby nursery
* 10 bed pediatric unit
* Attend deliveries

Qualifications
* Possesses and maintains current license to practice medicine in the State of Maryland required.
* Possesses and maintains current Board Certification within practicing specialty required.
* Possesses and maintains current DEA or similar Narcotics and Controlled Substances Certification required.
* Possesses and maintains, if applicable, appropriate clinical privileges at a minimum of one UMMS affiliated acute care facility.
* Demonstrates meeting minimum CME requirements for licensure and board certification.
* Demonstrates appropriate qualifications and experience to perform the duties required of this position.

Compensation:
* Pay Range: Pediatric Hospitalist Starting base at $95/hour, increases based on years of experience
* Additional compensation options available for discussion include a $20,000 sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, and a productivity bonus.
