Job Description

• Assisting warehouse workers with loading and unloading their vehicles
• Determining the quickest routes to destinations
• Obeying highway safety laws while operating their vehicles
• Keeping track of miles driven, hours worked and delivery times and locations
• Obtaining and retaining signatures from authorized personnel to gain proof of delivery
• Meeting strict delivery deadlines
• Reporting and providing reasons for delays due to weather, construction or traffic accidents
• Maintaining and cleaning their vehicles

Requirements

Owner Operator Requirements:

1. Experience :
   • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an owner-operator or in a similar role in the industry (e.g., trucking, logistics).
2. Truck Ownership :
   • Must own a truck that meets industry standards and requirements.
   • Truck must be in good working condition and capable of handling the required operations.
3. Licensing :
   • Must possess a valid Class A CDL (Commercial Driver's License) to operate large vehicles legally.
4. Equipment :
   • Truck must be equipped with a DEF (Diesel Exhaust Fluid) system to meet emissions standards and environmental regulations
