Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced On The Job Trainer for our AS9100 certified wire harness manufacturing facility. This position is essential to ensure that all production team members are trained in the latest manufacturing techniques and industry standards. As a Trainer, you will be actively working on the production floor, coaching and mentoring employees to achieve maximum efficiency and compliance with AS9100 requirements.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • 5 years experience in wire harness assembly, soldering, and crimping techniques. Experience with IPC/WHMA-A-620.
  • Proven experience in training and mentoring production staff. Strong communication skills and the ability to teach in a hands-on environment.
  • Ability to troubleshoot production issues and develop effective solutions quickly.

Are You Our Next ACE?

  • Training & Development: Provide hands-on training to new and existing employees on wire harness assembly, soldering, crimping, and other related manufacturing tasks, ensuring adherence to Customer, AS9100, and IPC standards.
  • Production Support: Be present on the production floor, offering guidance, troubleshooting issues, and assisting in the implementation of best practices.
  • Documentation & Compliance: Ensure that all training materials and production processes meet AS9100 and IPC standards. Maintain accurate training records and compliance documentation.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in the manufacturing process and collaborate with engineering and production teams to implement these improvements.
  • Evaluate Performance & Competency: Monitor and evaluate employee performance post-training, ensuring they meet quality and efficiency standards.
  • Training Plans: Develop and maintain comprehensive training modules aligned with IPC and customer-specific processes. Ensure all production team members are fully competent in their roles, regularly conducting evaluations and retraining as needed.

Pay Transparency

Winchester Interconnect Corporation is committed to pay transparency. The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $32.00 per hour (DOE). Exact salary will be contingent upon your experience, education, skills, and any other factors Winchester Interconnect Corporation considers relevant to the hiring decision.
