As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Oilfield Chemical Warehouseman to join our team.

 

Job Summary

 

The Oilfield Chemical Warehouseman will be responsible for managing the efficient and safe operation of our chemical warehouse, ensuring the accurate storage, handling, and distribution of oilfield chemicals. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining inventory levels, overseeing shipments, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

1. Inventory Management

Receive, inspect, and store incoming chemical shipments.

Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and track stock movements.

Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile any discrepancies.

 

2. Order Fulfillment

Prepare and package chemical orders for timely and accurate delivery to clients.

Coordinate with logistics and transportation teams to ensure on-time deliveries.

Monitor and update order status, providing timely information to relevant stakeholders.

 

3. Safety and Compliance

Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines for the handling and storage of chemicals.

Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to chemical storage

and transportation. Conduct regular safety inspections and implement corrective actions as needed.

 

4. Warehouse Organization

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.

Implement effective storage solutions to optimize space utilization.

Participate in regular equipment maintenance and inspections.

 

5. Communication

Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, production, and logistics, to coordinate

workflow and meet customer demands.

Communicate effectively with suppliers and vendors regarding shipments and order

status.

 

Qualifications

 

● High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in warehouse management is a plus.

● Proven experience as a warehouseman in the oil and gas industry.

● Knowledge of chemical handling, storage, and safety protocols.

● Familiarity with inventory management systems and basic computer skills.

● Strong organizational and time-management skills.

● Ability to lift and move heavy objects and operate material handling equipment.

● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
