The Program Coordinator is responsible for maintaining smooth operation of an active non-profit office, handling the coordination of summer season programs, and collaborating with the fund development team. Duties will include program promotion, partnership building, and management of foundation grants, among others. A high level of organizational, technology, partnership building, and problem solving capabilities are required for success in this role. The Program Coordinator reports to the Associate Director and will work closely with the rest of the ISEA team in their role.

Primary Responsibilities:
Program Operations
Build and maintain relationships with external programmatic partners to ensure high-quality programs throughout the summer season
Coordinate all aspects of summer programs including the schedule, contracts, and payments
Manage summer program schedules: Charters, Public Sails, Overnight, and Campus-Based
Collaborate with Communications Coordinator to ensure cohesive program marketing, planning, and implementation
Communicate to staff all vital participant information and scheduling changes
Communicate to clients all vital logistical information
Fund Development
Manage all aspects of the foundation grant process including:
Grant writing
Grant tracking
Grant reporting
Foundation relations
Lead coordination of annual donor appreciation event
Manage GiveLively platform administration
Collaborate on strategic fund development planning efforts
Support annual appeal process through strategy and Salesforce related tasks
Support annual report process through Salesforce related tasks
Communication and Marketing
Manage public ticketing platform and ticket sales with support from Office Manager
Develop and implement recruitment strategies for summer programs, in collaboration with other staff
Assist with marketing strategy for summer programs
Support Office Manager with external communications including ISEA inbox and telephone communications
Support recruitment of participants through presentations and at conferences
Administration
Manage and assign duties of Office Manager
Ensure ISEA is current with Salesforce updates and prepared for platform changes
Attend local Salesforce user group meetings on behalf of ISEA
Co-manage, with the Executive Director, the Board of Director meeting materials, manual, minutes, webpage, communication, and annual Executive Director evaluation
Support the creation and implementation of human resource systems
Leadership
Coordinate and attend community outreach events on behalf of ISEA
Provide regular performance feedback according to established performance objectives
Display passion and optimism, inspire respect and trust, mobilize others to fulfill the vision and mission, and provide vision and inspiration to colleagues
Support staff in decision-making and process improvement

Prerequisites and Education
Required:
2+ years of experience in an office environment, non-profit experience preferred
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and project management skills
Grant writing and management experience
Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in a related field
Ability to pass Criminal Background Check
Preferred:
Experience with Salesforce, Fareharbor, and Quickbooks
Program coordination experience
Passion for and familiarity with the Great Lakes, environmental work, education or outdoor recreation
Job Type, Compensation, Benefits
This is a full-time exempt position.
Pay: The salary range for this position is $55,000 - $60,000, based on skills and experience.
Location: Based in Suttons Bay, Michigan, with the option of a hybrid work schedule November - February.
