Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated transporter to join our growing team. Your primary responsibility is to shuttle patients from and to appointments. Along the way, you should ensure they are comfortable and provide them with friendly companionship.

To be successful in this role, you should have good physical stamina and excellent time-management skills. Top candidates will also be great communicators who can uplift patients with their presence.

• Transport, by use of a motor vehicle, mental health and/or substance abuse patients.
• Respects and protects client confidentiality by keeping all client information private.
• Follows all protocols and procedures to ensure safe delivery of clients, their possessions, and supplies.
• Accurately complete all transportation documentation and maintain client transport log and schedule.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

• Must possess a valid Driver’s License with at least one year of driving experience, a clean driving record (no major violations within last 24 months, and no more than one minor moving violation in last 24 months).
• Possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner.
• As a condition of employment, the employee must successfully complete a background investigation and a drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Display exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to handle crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently.
