In this position, you'll be the go-to person for providing insightful reports and analyses that directly impact our organization's financial health. You'll work closely with revenue cycle leaders, helping them make informed decisions and empowering colleagues across the organization with valuable data.
What You'll Do:
Become a Data Champion: You'll be the expert on our revenue cycle data, providing essential support for reporting and analytical needs. Your insights will empower users throughout the organization to leverage data effectively.
Generate Key Reports: You'll be responsible for producing accurate and timely month-end reports, as well as fulfilling ad-hoc reporting requests. Your work will provide critical visibility into our financial performance.
Drive Process Improvement: You'll actively identify opportunities to enhance our revenue cycle processes. By analyzing data and recommending changes, you'll contribute to greater efficiency and effectiveness.
Uncover Root Causes: You'll delve deep into data to uncover the root causes of issues, providing actionable recommendations for workflow process modifications. Your analytical skills will be essential in solving complex problems.
Analyze trends and anomalies: You will be expected to review large sets of data, and find the important details that will help improve the company.
What We're Looking For:
Experience in Data Analysis or Accounting: You have a proven track record in data analytics or accounting, ideally within a medical billing environment.
Strong Analytical and Technical Skills: You possess excellent analytical and computer skills, with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Understanding of the Medical Billing Revenue Cycle: You have a comprehensive understanding of the medical billing revenue cycle process, enabling you to effectively analyze related data.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel: You have intermediate-level skills in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create pivot tables and utilize complex formulas.
Excellent Communication and Documentation Skills: You can clearly communicate your findings and create comprehensive documentation.
Detail-Oriented and Organized: You are meticulous and pay close attention to detail, with excellent time management skills.
Quality-Focused: You are committed to delivering high-quality results and take pride in your work.
Proactive and Problem-Solving: You are able to identify problems, and propose solutions.
