Job Summary

W e  are seeking a detail-oriented Lab Technician to support production quality efforts in a manufacturing laboratory setting. Under the guidance of the Shift Lead Lab Technician, this role is responsible for conducting routine quality control testing on both in-process and finished inks to ensure they meet defined specifications and standards.

Job Description

• Perform quality control testing on in-process and finished ink batches, following established lab methods.
• Conduct tests including percent solids, viscosity, and color analysis.
• Use color measurement software for testing and data entry.
• Understand and apply testing specifications and limits to evaluate product quality.
• Accurately document test results and maintain organized, legible records.
• Communicate any out-of-spec results or irregularities to appropriate personnel.
• Follow all safety protocols and lab procedures.
• Shift: 7AM - 3:30PM

Skills Required

• Basic understanding of general laboratory practices.
• Proficient in using computers and data entry systems.
• Strong math skills, including percentages and averages.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow procedures precisely.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Prior lab or manufacturing experience preferred.

Education

• Hi gh school diploma / GED

Pay Rate

• $20 per hour

Additional Requirements

• Must be able to stand and walk for up to 8 hours during a shift.
• Ability to perform hands-on tasks in a laboratory and production environment.
