As a Junior Business Analyst at Augmentjobs, you will be a key contributor to the success of various business projects by assisting in the analysis, design, and implementation of business processes and systems. Key Responsibilities:
Business Process Analysis: Assist in analyzing current business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and proposing innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements Gathering: Work closely with stakeholders to gather and document detailed business requirements, ensuring a clear understanding of the needs and objectives of each project.
Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret data to support decision-making processes. Prepare reports and presentations that communicate findings to stakeholders.
Documentation: Prepare comprehensive business requirement documents, process flow diagrams, and other relevant documentation to support project activities.
Stakeholder Communication: Maintain regular communication with project stakeholders, providing updates on project progress and addressing any issues or concerns that arise.
Support Project Implementation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams during the implementation phase of projects, ensuring that business requirements are met and that the transition to new processes or systems is smooth.
Quality Assurance: Participate in testing activities to ensure that developed solutions meet business requirements and quality standards.
Continuous Improvement: Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes, tools, and methodologies within the business analysis function.
Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
Experience: 2 to 4 years of experience in business analysis, project management, or a related role.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make informed recommendations.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with business analysis tools such as Visio, JIRA, or similar software.
Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce high-quality documentation and reports.
Time Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with colleagues across various departments.
Certifications: Business Analysis certifications (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) are a plus.
Experience with Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile or Scrum project management methodologies is advantageous.
Industry Experience: Previous experience in the technology, finance, or consulting sectors is preferred but not required.
