St. Edmund Preparatory High School has a vacancy in the world languages department for a teacher starting in September 2025. St. Edmund Preparatory High School is a Catholic co-ed, IB World, college preparatory school located in Brooklyn, NY. Our mission is to instill the Gospel values in our students so as to empower them to become confident and self-disciplined participants in the ever-changing global society. We educate according to the needs of each student and challenge each of them to achieve academic excellence through practical learning experiences. Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide clear and consistently high-quality Spanish instruction for all students
• Create instructional lesson plans and activities that contribute to a climate where students are actively engaged in a meaningful learning experience
• Must be able to teach all levels of Spanish along with being open to teaching on the International Baccalaureate level
• Working collaboratively with other math faculty to foster an environment of bold learning

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in related field
• NYS teaching certification in Spanish 7-12 or currently working towards certification
