Spokane Produce is seeking a FULL TIME Farm Worker for our Cheney, WA farm. The successful candidate must be familiar with farming operations.

Job Summary

Responsible for all daily operational activities associated with farming, maintenance, and care of animals.

Essential Duties

  • Field/pasture production, planting, harvesting, irrigation, weed control and maintaining records of such.
  • Operate and maintain farm equipment and machinery.
  • General upkeep and maintenance of farm buildings and personal landscape.
  • Care of animals (cattle, chickens, horses, and family dogs).
  • May direct the work of 2-3 employees, and up to 7 seasonally.
  • Must communicate with family owners on a regular basis.
  • Will work most weekends.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years old.

Ability to work in inclement outdoor weather conditions.

Possess a general farm/animal care knowledge based on experience.

Schedule is Friday-Tuesday 7:00am-3:30pm.

Successful candidate will be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and 7-year county criminal background check.
