Description:
Our client is currently seeking a Dispatcher to join their team to be the key intermediary between the driver and customer service. This is a full-time, permanent position.

Responsibilities:

• Assign and coordinate shipments to ensure timely deliveries.
• Plan and optimize delivery routes for efficiency.
• Communicate with drivers, customers, and internal teams to provide updates and address concerns.
• Maintain accurate records of dispatch activity and shipping documentation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve transportation-related challenges.
• Provide customer support by confirming shipment details and addressing inquiries.
• Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and safety standards.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree preferred).
• 2 years of experience in FTL, dispatch, logistics, or transportation coordination.
• Familiarity with trucking operations and dispatch software.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards.

Hours & Benefits:

• M -F 5:00am-2:00pm
• Additional on-call 1/night a week plus 1 weekend every 5thweek
• In-Person – can be hybrid after a training period
