We are currently seeking a Community Outreach Assistant to support our growing outreach initiatives. As a Community Outreach Assistant, you will play a key role in the success of various nonprofit campaigns by increasing public awareness and participation. You will represent mission-driven organizations at community events, provide information to the public, and encourage engagement through in-person interactions. Your contributions will directly support charitable initiatives and drive positive change in the communities we serve.
Represent nonprofit partners at outreach events and community activations
Distribute campaign materials, communicate key messages, and promote participation
Provide accurate information and answer questions regarding nonprofit missions and services
Assist with event preparation, setup, breakdown, and on-site support
Gather feedback and share insights to help improve campaign effectiveness
Attend ongoing training sessions to enhance communication and outreach skills
Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Outgoing, professional demeanor with a positive attitude
Strong interest in nonprofit work, social impact, or community relations
Ability to multitask and remain organized in fast-paced environments
Willingness to learn and contribute as a team player
Flexible schedule with availability for occasional evenings and weekends
No prior experience required ; training is provided
Previous experience in customer service, public-facing roles, or volunteer work is a plus
