Job Description
A client in the Tulsa area is looking for a Cloud Engineer/Architect to come join their transformational team as they look to mature and grow their Azure cloud environment. You will be responsible for helping create consistent cloud architecture across the enterprise and define the visual roadmap. This client has started their cloud journey however not all environments have been migrated, so you will be helping with looking and assessing the five-year plan and how to migrate applicatiosn to the Azure and AWS cloud. This role requires someone to be able to pick up engineering work as well as lead the cloud architecture. Some additional responsibilities include (but are not limited to:
Monitors emerging standards, sets standards and technologies to be used by the enterprise
Crafts the architecture vision, conceptualizes and experiments with alternative architectural approaches; builds models, components and interface specification documents; validates the architecture against requirements and assumptions
Translates business requirements into repeatable design strategies, systems qualities and patterns
Solves problems with developers, addresses ongoing revisions/improvements of the architecture
Analyzes competitors, products, strategies and product generation processes
This role will require you to work with all levels of leadership and team members. Someone who is local to Tula, OK and willing to be onsite four days a week is a must.
Compensation:
$55/hr to $80/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Skills and Requirements
Bachelor's degree
10+ years exp within Azure Cloud Infrastructure Engineering and Architecture
Infrastructure-as-Code techniques to architect, deploy, maintain, operate, and optimize our cloud infrastructure
Experience creating and maintaining large enterprise architectures
Exp deploying new services and migrating on-prem services to Azure
Expertise in at least three of Terraform, Ansible, Bicep, or ARM
Experience designing, deploying, and iterating sophisticated cloud infrastructure via DevOps pipelines
Proficiency in VSCode or similar, Azure DevOps or GitHub, and Agile methodology in Azure DevOps
Understand applications of design and technically deliver.
Ability to show value, risk, and speak to all levels of leadership - AWS, GCP
Python, JavaScript, PowerShell, BASH, PHP, or Java
Jenkins or similar, Kubernetes, Docker, HashiCorp tools, ServiceNow, and a deep understanding of APIs ( SOAP, REST) null
