The Opportunity:
Imagine a role where you'll be at the heart of our supply chain, driving procurement, maintaining optimal inventory levels, and building strong supplier relationships. As a Buyer & Planner, you'll have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our operations and contribute to our long-term success.
You'll be part of a dynamic team, working directly with the VP of Operations, and have the chance to challenge the status quo and implement innovative solutions.
What You'll Be Doing:
Define optimal inventory specifications to ensure smooth material flow, cost efficiency, and timely deliveries.
Select and establish long-term partnerships with suppliers based on product quality and reliability.
Negotiate contracts that include favorable costs, warranties, delivery terms, and handling procedures.
Manage the entire purchasing cycle, from purchase order to consumption.
Monitor supplier performance through KPIs and maintain effective communication channels.
Implement and optimize our Enterprise Requirements Planning System.
Drive continuous improvement and challenge existing processes to enhance efficiency.
Perform other duties as assigned to support supply chain operations.
What You Bring to the Table:
Bachelor's Degree in a business-related discipline from an accredited US institution.
3-7 years of progressive experience in Supply Chain, Purchasing, or Demand Planning.
Experience managing remote suppliers and manufacturers.
Effective written and oral communication skills.
Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
Working knowledge of data analysis and forecasting tools.
Proven knowledge of inventory management principles.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong supplier relationships.

This is a full-time, in-office position in Plano, TX.
Salary range: $54,600 to $75,100 per year (estimated pay).
Bachelor's degree and 3-7 years of relevant experience are required.
