Job Description

Bellecour Café & Bakery, Gavin Kaysen’s French-influenced café in the 50th & France area of Edina, is looking for   Baristas to create a welcoming and exceptional experience for our guests. They will take orders, expertly prepare a variety of coffee and tea beverages, and assist in delivering food to tables. A deep understanding of our menus, ingredients, and baking/cooking techniques is essential to provide informed recommendations and answer guest inquiries with confidence. 
Timeline: Training is scheduled to begin the first week of November for an anticipated mid-November opening. 

• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Extensive knowledge of coffee and tea preparation techniques.
• In-depth understanding of bakery and café menus, ingredients, and cooking methods.
• Ability to memorize and recall menu details and ingredients.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Proficiency in handling cash and operating POS systems.
• Stand on your feet for up to 10 hours.
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

• During the first year of employment, Paid Time Off (PTO), in accordance with Minnesota's Earned Sick and Safe Time law, is accrued at a rate of 1 hour per 30 hours worked and is available for use as soon as it is accrued.
